      <image:title>about me</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m an editor at large—that is, looking for contract, part-time, or full-time work. Writing and editing are two of my favorite ways to wrinkle my brain. But I’m not only about words. I like developing new ways of communicating with images and design. creating, comedy, logic, and beasts. When I’m not thinking about communication, knitting, painting, sewing, coloring, cooking, doing logic puzzles, trying to do yoga or pilates, spending time with my cats and dogs, reading, listening to an audiobook, or volunteering. I love to see live stand-up comedy. My formal brain-wrinkling happened at some wonderful places: B.A. (philosophy, minor in education) and M.A.Ed. (museum education) at the College of William and Mary, which still feels like home to me; J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law; and a certificate in infographics and data visualization from the Parsons School of Design at the New School. I’ve also taken a smattering of classes in various subjects at the Community College of Allegheny County, the University of Pittsburgh, the Art Institute (Pittsburgh and online), and the American University. No idea what school will be next, but I’m sure there’ll be one.</image:caption>
